The Innovation & Startup Committee at Siddheswar Degree College is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant ecosystem of creative thinking, entrepreneurship, and research excellence. Our primary mandate is to inspire, guide, and support students and faculty members to transform innovative ideas into viable, real-world startups.

By providing the necessary mentorship, infrastructural resources, and networking opportunities, the committee serves as an incubation launchpad. We actively encourage problem-solving methodologies that address local and global challenges, helping our academic community transition from job seekers into job creators.

Core Objectives & Responsibilities

• Ideation & Mentorship: Organizing ideation camps, hackathons, and boot camps to identify promising talents and connect them with industry mentors.
• Entrepreneurship Development: Conducting workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions with successful entrepreneurs to instill business acumen and leadership skills.
• Incubation Support: Assisting students with prototype development, proof-of-concept verification, and understanding the basics of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
• Ecosystem Networking: Building strong collaborations with regional startup hubs, incubation centers, and financial networks to help student ventures secure funding.
