- The college has been registered under section 2 (f) and 12(B) of UGC act since 1991-92 i.e. on 23-11-92

- The college has been accredited by the NAAC Committee with C++ grade.

- The college has already introduced Career counseling Programme, Remedial coaching course among SC/ST/Economically deprived students and Net work resource centre which are now continuing.

- The students, who are not in receipt of any other scholarship are getting UGC scholarship under the head of Higher proportion of SC/ST/Minority community/Economically deprived students under merged scheme.

4(Four) Nos. of staff of this college namely L.N. Mohanty, Lect. in Economics, Dr. S.N. Mishra, Lect. in English, Subrat Kumar Nayak, Lect. in Physics and A.K. Jena, Lect. in Philosophy have completed Minor research project from UGC grant.

Maximum Nos. of staff of the college has attended 2 refresher courses each and presented papers in National seminar.
