The "Shiva Shakti" in the middle of the crest along with two tridents on both sides sumbolize the firmness of purpose and the birth of a new generation with aspiration and charity. Two tridents symbolize the destruction of evil and the establishment of truth and reality. The diffused rays are of knowledge and divine blessing.

Three bel leaves placed above the "Shakti" containing a book, a lamp and a beaker signify the tallness of the institution. Siddheswar College is really a temple of knowledge and center pace with the flux of time.

The Sanskrit hymn inscribed on top of the crest "Bidyaya Bindyate Amrutam" is the summary objects of this institution as "Learning Larks nectar."
